Qualifications:

In order to qualify for the Saver rate and ATM fee refunds, simply meet the qualifications for your Kasasa Cash account each monthly qualification cycle:

  • Have at least 12 signature-based point of sale purchases post and settle
  • Receive e-statement
  • Have at least 1 direct deposit or automatic payment post and settle

It couldn't be easier! Chances are you're doing these already.


Kasasa Cash and Kasasa Saver are relationship accounts, and are therefore intended to be your primary checking and savings accounts, with debit card transactions for everyday expenses.


And remember, if you don't qualify one month, you still receive the base rate of interest, and can get the rewards back the following monthly qualification cycle.

*APY=Annual Percentage Yield. APYs accurate as of 03/01/2013. Rates may change after account is opened. Minimum to open is $50 for Kasasa Cash and $50 for Kasasa Saver. For Kasasa Cash, if qualifications are met each monthly qualification cycle: (1) Domestic ATM fees incurred during qualification cycle will be reimbursed up to $25 ($5.00 per single transaction) and credited to account on the last day of monthly statement cycle; (2) balances up to $25,000 receive APY of 1.81%; and (3) balances over $25,000 earn 0.65% interest rate on the portion of the balance over $25,000, resulting in 1.81% - 0.94% APY depending on the balance. If qualifications are not met on Kasasa Cash all balances earn 0.15% APY. Qualifying transactions must post and settle to Kasasa Cash account during monthly qualification cycle. Transactions may take one or more banking days from the date transaction was made to post and settle to account. "Monthly Qualification Cycle" means a period beginning one day prior to the first day of the current statement cycle through one day prior to the close of the current statement cycle. The advertised Kasasa Cash APY is based on compounding interest. Interest earned in Kasasa Cash is automatically transferred to Kasasa Saver each statement cycle and does not compound. Actual interest amount paid may be less than advertised Kasasa Cash APY. The Kasasa Saver APYs may be less than Kasasa Cash APYs. If qualifications in Kasasa Cash are met each monthly qualification cycle: (1) balances up to $100,000 in Kasasa Saver receive an APY of 1.56%; and (2) balances over $100,000 in Kasasa Saver earn 1.05% interest rate on portion of balance over $100,000, resulting in 1.56% - 1.31% APY depending on the balance. If qualifications are not met on Kasasa Cash, all balances in Kasasa Saver earn 0.10% APY. Transfers between accounts do not count as qualifying transactions. PIN based transactions do not count towards qualifying debit card transactions. Debit card transactions processed by merchants and received by the bank as ATM transactions do not count toward qualifying debit card transactions. Only debit card transactions processed by merchants and received by the bank as POS transactions count towards qualifying debit card transactions. Limit one account per SSN. ATM receipt must be presented for reimbursement of an individual ATM fee of $5.00 or higher.


**Statement cycles the fourth Thursday of each month. In the event of a Thursday federal holiday, the cycle will end on the prior business day.
